Goodshuffle Grooves into 2024 with $5M Investment for Event Rental Management Software

Goodshuffle, a software provider catering to the event rental and production sector, secured $5 million in Series A funding from FINTOP Capital.

Despite the significant setbacks caused by the global pandemic, CEO Andrew Garcia highlighted the resilience of Goodshuffle’s user base, which primarily consists of small businesses offering rental services for various event items. These companies adapted to the challenges brought by the pandemic by providing temporary infrastructure for COVID testing sites and diversifying into areas like manufacturing and renting personal protective equipment.

Goodshuffle also introduced a “wishlist integration,” akin to a Shopify plug-in, allowing businesses to showcase their inventory virtually on their websites. This feature proved vital for clients, enabling them to browse, add items to a shopping cart, and book them online.

Goodshuffle Pro, the company’s vertical SaaS tool, offers a comprehensive solution with a single dashboard for rental and event production companies. It streamlines inventory tracking, sales automation, and growth management by centralizing tasks such as managing invoices, contracts, schedules, and payments.

The concept for Goodshuffle Pro stemmed from Garcia’s early experience in renting gear as a college disc jockey. He teamed up with Erik Dreyer in 2015 to establish an online rental marketplace, which eventually evolved into Goodshuffle Pro with the addition of founding team member Karen Gordon in 2018.

While Garcia didn’t disclose specific revenue growth figures, he noted that the company serves thousands of customers. With the new $5 million funding, Goodshuffle plans to expand its team and enhance Goodshuffle Pro with new features, reflecting a clear vision for the company’s future.

Garcia emphasized the significance of partnering with FINTOP Capital, stating that the investment represents a pivotal moment for Goodshuffle to accelerate its growth and execute its vision efficiently.
