WJMES 2024 Showcases $817,000 Gold Bike and Rare Egyptian Artefacts at Sharjah Jewellery Exhibition

Sharjah’s 53rd Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show (WJMES) is currently mesmerizing visitors with a dazzling array of creations, including a gold bike and scooter valued at AED3 million ($817,000), Egyptian artefacts worth AED4 million ($1.1 million), and Emirati clothing valued at AED1.3 million ($354,000).

 

Taking place at Expo Centre Sharjah, WJMES provides visitors with an extraordinary opportunity to explore one of the largest collections of gold and jewellery in both the country and the broader region.

 

The exhibition stands out for its exquisite presentation of rare and fine gold jewellery, drawing inspiration from Emirati and Arab heritage while also showcasing international and local designs.

 

With exclusive pieces of the highest quality jewellery, gold adornments, and unique diamonds, the event features over 500 exhibitors representing major companies and renowned local and international brands.

The exhibition concludes on Sunday, February 4.

 

One of the most remarkable attractions at the event is the world’s tallest shivering, inspired by ancient Emirati heritage and crafted entirely from pure gold, boasting an impressive length of 2.2 metres with a price tag of AED1.3 million ($354,000).

Moreover, there’s an extraordinary assortment of rare Egyptian artefacts, embellished with 24-carat gold plating and valued at AED 4 million ($1 million). Additionally, there are scooters and bicycles adorned with 24-carat gold plates, priced at AED 3 million.

 

The exhibition captivates with its diverse array of gold jewellery, showcasing unique designs inspired by Arab and Emirati heritage. In addition to local companies, the exhibition also features the latest fashion products and lines of jewellery, gemstones, pearls, and jewellery from leading international companies based in India, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Russia, China, Singapore, and Thailand.
